Jeffrey W. Wright is a founding member of Leahy, Wright and Associates. Jeff focuses his practice on the defense of Workers' Compensation claims in Missouri.
Jeff has over 37 years of experience defending Workers' Compensation claims on behalf of Employers, Insurers and TPA's. He has tried to conclusion dozens of Workers' Compensation claims from the simple to the complex, including permanent partial and permanent total disability claims. This experience also extends to the defense of Medical Fee Disputes Workers' Compensation "subrogation" claims, in which he has recovered tens of thousands of dollars on behalf of his clients.
Jeff also has extensive and successful appellate experience at all Workers' Compensation levels, including before the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission of Missouri, all districts of the Missouri Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Missouri.
He also prides himself on managing claims, including advising clients on future outcomes, instructing them on the quirks of Missouri Workers' Compensation law and practice, and developing strategy and tactics for individual and company wide claims.
